Azure Pier Coastal Cafe at Anglers Anchorage, Victoria, BC

I could have spent most of the day relaxing at Azure Pier Cafe.  The setting was so beautiful.  The menu is focused on small plates and that seems like a wonderful way to while away the hours - snacking and drinking.  The menu is Southeast Asian inspired with some Mexican food throw in for a change of pace.

We ordered a lot more food than I took pictures.  We started with house-made jasmine iced tea.  Then, pad thai, a barbacoa enchilada, two dill pickle salads, lentil soup, a carrot dip and more.  There were four of us and we had about seven small plates.  The food was excellent.  Everything was really fresh.  The menu is such a nice departure from most harbor-side places which usually offer burgers and fries.  They had a nice cocktail menu which would pair nicely with the many interesting dips offered.  The staff were vey friendly.

The marina is picturesque and the restaurant has a nice patio over the water.  The weather was wonderful.

The restaurant is in a low red building.  It is less than a 10-minute drive from Butchart Gardens.  As you drive toward the marina, the street gets very narrow.  To the left of the restaurant is a large parking lot with a row of parking dedicated for the restaurant.  (The rest is marina parking).
