Casa Guadalajara is one of my favorite places to take guests new to San Diego. It's a fun Mexican restaurant with traditional Mexican food and eye-catching decor. It has a beautiful patio and ample indoor seating. The waitstaff where traditional style clothing and there is a mariachi band on the weekends. It is away from the main part of Old Town, so it is easy to avoid the long lines at some of the ones on San Diego Avenue. Across the parking lot is Bazaar Del Mundo, a cute shopping area with Mexican influenced clothes, jewelry and more.
