The San Diego County Fair was just great this year!  I thought the woodworking entries were outstanding!  There were also some very creative and beautifully made pieces of jewelry.  (I couldn't take a photo, because my camera was reflected in the glass of the case).  

I especially enjoyed the student section.  There were some stunning examples of art, photography and woodworking.  They included poster boards that demonstrated the use of statistics.  One studied whether pandas were less active in captivity.  A student crocheted the snail ensemble above.  I loved it!

The garden and animal displays were nice as usual.  For my fair treat, I just had a soft-serve ice cream.  I was in the mood.

It was a very nice morning!  It was sunny, but there was a nice cool ocean breeze.
