Another visit to Huntington Gardens

We went to The Huntington a few years ago.  It was a not day and we focused on seeing the galleries and library exhibit.  We went again to see the beautiful gardens.  It was drizzling, but otherwise it was a fine day.  The gardens are outstanding.  There are Japanese, Chinese and British gardens, as well as displays of Australian and other exotic plants.  We especially enjoyed the Japanese gardens, which includes a tea room, rock garden, bonsai collection and an impressive stand of bamboo.  To my surprise, the rose garden was in bloom!

The day we were there, visitors had to have prior reservations.  There are plenty of restrooms and several cafes.  It is a beautiful place to wander and enjoy!
