 These pretty pictures came from Big Jim Farms.  You can pick your own chile peppers by the bushel or half-bushel.  Even a half-bushel is a lot of chiles!  If you get a bushel, they will roast them for you.  

We bought a few of the ristras of red chiles, which are so common in New Mexico, they should be on the state flag.  We also enjoyed seeing the farm animals.  Apparently goats enjoy chiles, too.

This is a wonderful place to spend an hour or two on a beautiful fall day!
