Haven at Fox Point Farms, Encinitas, CA

 Fox Point Farms is a work-in-progress - meaning that they obviously have big plans for the place.  There is a lot there already!  There is a small farm with fruit trees and greenhouses; farm animals; a small market; a brewery, a coffee roaster; a community room (a yoga class was in-session); a large play area for children and plenty of seating to hang out.    We went to Haven for brunch.  This is a restaurant is upstairs from the Harvest market.  

It is a very pretty, airy space with plenty of patio seating.  I had excellent French toast.  It had a crunchy, sugar crust with a soft custardy inside.  It was a tasty and relaxing break for mid-morning.  Their goal is to become a farm-to-table experience.  There is stereo equipment set up for evening listening of albums.

We had a nice walk around the property.  It was so much fun to see the children looking at the alpacas, cow, chickens and other animals.  I'm excited to see what else they are going to do with the property.
