Trillium, Mendocino, CA

 Trillium is a charming, intimate restaurant in the heart of the village of Mendocino.  We stopped by for lunch and were some happy, we came for dinner, the next day.

For lunch, we had the grilled flat bread; beet and persimmon salad; bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado sandwich; and the Point Reyes blue cheese salad.

For dinner, we had wild mushroom crostini; grilled flat bread; flat iron steaks; and the blue cheese salad.  The dessert menu is really nice!  We had a layer cake.

The food was excellent.
