A trip to Lake Elsinore and lunch in Temecula
We arrived very early in the morning. The lake is large and pretty. There is a small public beach, boat launch and restrooms. To our surprise, the downtown was boarded up. Apparently, there is concern about looting following some protests. We couldn't even find a place for coffee.
Then, we drove to Walker Canyon. There are lots of nice trails. The main trail is wide and provides easy walking above the canyon. We saw so many lizards!
After our hike, we stopped at our favorite place in Temecula:
We started with watermelon sangria and a spicy margarita. Delicious!
