The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Bangkok

Many Thai people believe it is good luck to visit nine temples for the New Year.  We joined the throng at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.  It is on the grounds of the Royal Palace.  The Temple and surrounding buildings are overwhelming in their magnificence and more remarkable than anything I have seen in Europe!
