MacRostie Winery Tasting Room in Healdsburg, CA

 I forgot to take any pictures inside this beautiful winery!  It was a cool day and the hills were verdant.  The vines were neatly trimmed back for the winter.   The MacRostie Winery Tasting Room is spacious and we had a knowledgeable wine sommelier to guide us through the tastings.  She listened to what we like and modified her recommendations accordingly.  We tried five wines and was offered more, but it was just too much alcohol for me.  (We had a designated driver, but I still had to make the walk to the car!). We enjoyed learning about the history of the winery and the wine-producing region we were in.  You don't have to know much about wine to have a fun outing.  We tasted and talked and learned and had a delightful time.
