Eight4Nine, Palm Springs, CA
The restaurants of Palm Springs are making good use of their outdoor space. Eight4Nine has a large patio with beautiful lighting. It was warm enough, we didn't even need the heaters. We ordered a lot of food, but I was overly relaxed and forget about taking enough pictures. I had a very good and strong house cocktail. We started with quesadillas. I had sea bass and my friend had steelhead (similar to trout). Both were excellent. I was intrigued by the caramel macchiato cake, which was huge and delicious/
The menu is eclectic with items ranging from a poblano chile relleno to burgers to Irish stew. It is a big menu, so there is something for everyone. It is located in the north end of downtown and there is a lot of evening activity and plenty of great shopping.
