We went to
Rasoi in Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi for Christmas. They welcomed us with a very cute, savory amuse bouche with a savory Christmas cracker. The menu was Mumbai food with some interesting additions, such as Tibetan momos, chicken with black olives, zaatar and labneh and dishes from other parts of India.
The food was great! The stand-out was the dessert menu. I had the toffee rasmalai, which was served with little bricks of khulfi. The other dessert we had was blueberry ghewar. Berries aren't typical in Indian food, so it was a fresh approach to a traditional dessert.
