Rudy's BBQ, Austin

The staff made the trip to Rudy's truly memorable.  They gave us a friendly shout when they found out we were from out of town.  They made us up a sample of the turkey, pork and beef BBQ, when they found out we had never been to a Rudy's.  The BBQ was excellent and it was a really fun adventure.  It is Texas at it's best.  You make up your own sandwich.  They give you the meat  (we choose 1/4 pound of brisket each) and then all the sliced white bread so think you need.  There are sauces at a station and sauces on the picnic benches.  There are choice of sides and some dessert options.  All very inexpensive, good and filling!
