Arlo Grey is inside the Line Hotel in downtown Austin. It offers an imaginative weekend brunch menu with interesting options like duck confit hash and house-made chorizo on braised greens. It is a small menu, but everything looked worthy of a try.

I enjoyed their color scheme of carnation and cobalt |
The beignets were especially good and were served very hot on a cooling sour cream base. The bacon "jam" was savory, salty and sweet. The quinoa bowl was very filling and good. The texture of the yolk on the tartine was a little strange. The yolk was cooked, but had an odd texture. There was a large piece of Texas challah toast, so it was a very filling dish, as well.
The restaurant overlooks the river and it pretty and very bright with natural light. The only nearby parking is valet, which cost $10. I would definitely like to try everything on the menu! The hotel is also very nice looking and is in a convenient location.
