The Wallace offers a seasonal, vegetable-forward menu in a cool setting in downtown Culver City. I started with a Flower Power mocktail, which was excellent. They offer several non-alcoholic drinks, as well as cocktails, beer and wine.

Main Street in Culver City |
Each dish was very flavorful with a generous use of different types of hot peppers. The portion of the roasted cauliflower steak was huge. We would have taken half home, if we weren't staying in a hotel. Although the portion of the yucca seemed small for a main course, it was very filling and I finished about half of it. I would describe the cuisine as a California/Mexican fusion with an emphasis on fresh ingredients with simple preparations that let the ingredients shine, but with the use of herbs and chiles to add a lot of flavor punch. I highly recommend!
The area is busy with plenty of restaurants and bars. There is some parking in a public lot, behind the restaurant, which is free for the first hour. We paid $1 for parking!
