My dessert!

This restaurant is great!  The Grouse Mountain Grill offers delicious, imaginative food with beautiful plating and amazing mountain views.  It was warm enough for the floor to ceiling windows to be open for lovely cool breezes.  Its contemporary American fine dining with interesting, but accessible food, such as spring pea agnolotti, trout in a crispy cornmeal crust and coffee rubbed short ribs.  Everything sounded wonderful.  Most of the dishes were made from locally sourced ingredients, such as steelhead and rocky mountain trout.  We were there during slow season (May), so got a table easily.  My guess would be that it is packed during ski season.  The restaurant is located inside the Pines Lodge in the heart of Beaver Creek.  I'm missing two entrees, because the photos didn't come up very well.  To excited to eat to hold the phone steady.
