Ramen in Tokyo

Ramen is a great deal – filling, hot, delicious and customizable.  Most city ramen places have a computerized ordering system.  You select your items from a touch pad, put your yen in and out pops a number.  Most don't take credit cards! You wait your turn to be seated individually in a tiny booth.  Then, your bowl of ramen is delivered steaming hot.  It isn’t designed for a social or leisurely meal.  It is quick and tasty and gets you out the door to continue sight seeing.

Ichiran is a popular chain and coming to the U.S.
