Liberty Station, Point Loma

Liberty Station has a lot going on beside the Liberty Public Market.  We discovered it during a walking tour with BiteSD.  There are several restaurants on the grounds of the Station.  We had samples at Slater’s 50/50, a big bar/restaurant with a fun menu.  Besides touring the Public Market, we stopped in at Point Loma Teas, which had lots of samples:

Our tour concluded at Solare’s for pizza and meatballs. 

Liberty Station used to be a Naval Training Center.  It now houses several museums, a movie theater and stores.  There is ample parking, so it is an easy place to explore.
